Chocolate Cake

Just had myself a slice of chocolate cake. Every time I eat chocolate cake I think about this scene.

Two Hours

I have two hours left to do whatever I want before my life turns to hell for the next four to five hours. Yes, I’m talking about my job at the wine bar. Being a busser is cool and all, but it can be really stressful when the system of a restaurant isn’t well-organized. And my restaurant doesn’t have a well-organized system. To an extent, it is well-organized. That’s only when we’re not busy; when we’re busy, we’re fucked. FUCKED REALLY HARD. Coworkers turn to devils and we all become enemies with one another. The only thing that matters at that point is getting every customer out of the fucking restaurant so everyone can turn back to normal, relax and laugh at how busy it was. Weird how that works though right? When a restaurant isn’t busy, the workers want it to be busy; when a restaurant is busy, the workers don’t want it to be busy. It’s really a lose/lose situation. No business = no tips/easy day. Business = tips/hard day. The stress from working at this restaurant… man… I’m tired of it. I’m bipolar when I work. That’s only if we get smashed with customers though. I would quit if I wasn’t making so much money.

AAU Summer ’10

Such a stressful Summer semester. I came so close to being on academic probation and I’m barely a first year for my school. I missed the first couple weeks worth of assignments because my internet was cut off, couldn’t get access to a computer that had Adobe Illustrator and I almost missed one of my midterms because of a crazy work week schedule. I pretty much started this term off with an F, but I worked my way up and I’m glad to say I got myself two B’s after all of the hardships and hardwork.
